ZBS hosts its 2nd ZBS Annual Gala

ZBS Annual Gala at the Commerce Club on December 16th, 2022

Our ZBS Annual Gala was successfully held on Friday, December 16th, 2022 at the Commerce Club in Downtown Atlanta. It was an incredible night with fun, laughter and excitement with raffles, performances by team members and the announcement of our ZBS Employee Awards.


Our night began with performances from the Emerald Empire Band before leading into the start of our programming. The gala was hosted by four of our ZBS team members, Livie Wang, Kimi Jin, Cecilia Zhang, and Moussa Ye. Livie Wang and Cecilia Zhang presented in English while Kimi Jin and Moussa Ye presented in Chinese.

Zhao spoke of the recent achievements of ZBS as well as the goals of tomorrow. Zhao thanks all partners, clients and team members who attended the gala for their loyalty and support of him and the company.


The growth of ZBS has been exponential in the past few years. Tonight, we are celebrating the growth and the many more years of success to come.

ZBS Values Awards

Our first awards for the night were the ZBS Values Awards, based off of the ZBS Core Values: Customer-Oriented, Teamwork, Accountability, and Ambitious. The Awards were presented by Ella Jiang with Kimi Jin who translated to Chinese. Orionstar USA's robot server, Lucki, also assisted in presenting the four awards.

Customer Hero Award Winner:

Bin Bin Shao

Tech Support Team (POS Department)


Binbin Shao has displayed to be the most customer-oriented this year. He has demonstrated throughout the year the importance of taking care of our clients, while making improvements within their work to give our customers the best experience.

Go-Getter Award Winner:

Jack Zhao

Sales Department


Jack Zhao is someone that goes above and beyond expectations, no matter how small or big the task is. He has ambition to always improve himself, his department and the company as a whole.

Collaborator Award Winner:

Sasa Liu

Marketing Department


Sasa Liu is known to be a team player.  She works in harmony with not only with her own department members, but also with any colleague who needs a little extra help. She is the embodiment of the phrase “Teamwork makes the dream work!”

Most Reliable Award Winner:

Winnie Wang

Merchant Services Department


Winnie Wang is someone you can always count on, to not only get the job done but to also be the shoulder their coworkers can lean on. She has shown throughout the years that she will always be reliable and trustworthy, making sure that the job gets done well.

Two members from the Merchant Services Department & two members from the Marketing Department performed "Habanera" from Georges Bizet's opera "Carmen."

Sales of Excellence Awards

Our next awards for the night were the Sales of Excellence Awards, to award some of our brightest stars in the Sales Department. The three Sales of Excellence Awards were presented by VP of Sales, Louie Bernstein, with Moussa Ye who translated to Chinese.

Most Inspirational Leader Winner:

Lynn Yeoh

Atlanta Sales Branch Manager


One of the qualities of a good leader is to lead by example.  They don’t just tell their team how to do something, they show them.  They set the standard for how to do things correctly.  Lynn Yeoh built, and continues to build, a solid sales team, leading by example. Her leadership is something to be modeled.

Overachiever Award Winner:

Nancy Lan

Marketing & Sales Department Head


Nancy Lan is not only running sales, but she also has about four other jobs.  Today, Nancy Lan, is still in sales, and still has those other jobs.  She’s one of the most knowledgeable people about ZBS’ products and services and she is one of its hardest workers.

Salesperson of the Year Winner:

Amy Liang

Atlanta Sales Representative


With 33 POS sales and 55 merchant services accounts being sold in 2022, Amy Liang is our Salesperson of the Year. Throughout her time at ZBS, she has shown how dedicated she is to her clients and to her team.

Special Zither Performance by Lisa Li


Our last performance of the night was headlined by Lisa Li on the Chinese zither. She performed the traditional Chinese song, "Dance of the Yi People."

New Hire of the Year Award

Our second to last award for the night was the New Hire of the Year Award, to award an outstanding new hire who has joined the company in 2022. For the award, we had three nominees, Ella Jiang from the HR Department, Eric Schofield from the Deployment Team (POS Department), and Will Liu from the Business Development Department.


This award was presented by CFO Aaron Feng with Kimi Jin translating to Chinese.

HR Department


Ella Jiang was awarded the New Hire of the Year Award 2022. We expect many more great achievements to come from her in the coming years. We are privileged to have her on our ZBS team.

Employee of the Year Award

Our final award for the night was the Employee of the Year Award, to award an outstanding ZBS team member who has gone above and beyond in 2022. For the award, we had three nominees, Jay Liu from the Tech Support Team (POS Department), Mark Kearney from the Deployment Team (POS Department), and Ella Jiang from the HR Department.


This award was presented by CEO Kevin Zhao with Kimi Jin translating to Chinese.

Mark Kearney was awarded the Employee of the Year Award 2022. His hard work has paid off and we are ever so grateful that he's a part of our ZBS family. We can't wait to see the many more achievements he'll make in the coming year.

Raffle

Throughout the night we also had many raffle drawings. Our leadership team drew for 5 raffle prizes provided by ZBS. We also had many of our partner who sponsored raffle prizes. We thank all of our sponsors and the amazing prizes they provided us.

ZBS Officially Launches Front Waitlist & Reserve

ZBS is proud to officially launch our restaurant waitlist and reservation systems, Front Waitlist and Front Reserve, built to help restaurants optimize their front of house operations. After 6 months of rigorous testing, Front Waitlist & Front Reserve have undergone many positive and important changes while improving upon unique features that were first released with the beta versions.
